I read this in one of Effy’s blog posts, and it really made an impression on me.
“F*ck that noise”.
Please excuse the rude word, however it currently describes just how I’m dealing with life right now. Some things this month have been a bit difficult and I’ve had to draw a stop to it, the only thing I can do is remove the person from my life, and the thoughts going through my head, and the above mantra is helping.
After all, it’s just noise. I can’t change others attitude towards me, or their behaviour. They’re not going to change at this late stage in their lives.
However I don’t have to put up with, or listen to, their noise.
And so the Mantra begins again…..:)
Effy’s blog is here www.Effywild.com and thanks Effy, this has really helped me deal with stuff!
Well, they do! So this shows how important blogging can be. Probably for a company, it’s a useful tool (no I don’t really blog on my business site, I find Wix blog unhelpful) but this shows how powerful it can be.
The pen is mightier than the sword it says, and these statistics prove there may be truth in that.
So for us blog along people, weather in business or blogging for pleasure (which I’m doing and finding it really fun) we shouldn’t underestimate what we are doing.
You’re nicer and stronger than you realise. You can do more than you are told you can. You have the capacity for strength and greatness, you just have to believe in yourself.
Not everyone is on your side. Don’t worry about it, let them learn for themselves, that is their journey.
Sometimes you have to realise family members won’t ever change however many times you try to deal with them. Don’t listen to their negative talk, rise above it and you’ll do more than people think you can.
Lay off the chocolate. In later life you’ll wish you had!
Look after your teeth. Dye your hair whatever colour you like – it’s your life. If your family doesn’t like it, they don’t have to wear it 😀
You will be happy, you’ll go through sh*t, your body will change, your mind will change.
I started blogging because it is a challenge. I chose to join Effy Wild‘s blog along because it would kick start me and came at the perfect time. I actually didnt know if I could blog every day, it seems im doing ok at the moment!! (im not counting my chickens just yet).
I am blogging because I enjoy it, and right now, I am enjoying reading all the other blogs (as many as I have time to read – there’s over 300 of us) too, and it creates a mini-tribe of people. This tribe is made up of healers, teachers and tarot people, and artists. I love this eclectic mix of people and their blogs.
